You can't give your best if you don't have your best to give
I graduated from my Massage Therapy Program in the fall of 2004. While studying massage, I learned that I have a love and interest in anatomy and kinesiology. I was hired at the chiropractic clinic where I completed my externship through the massage program. Working with the doctor and observing his process along with my interest in anatomy gave me a more technical approach to massage therapy.
In 2015 I completed a yoga teacher training and while I do not practice the theory and religion of yoga I was able to deepen my knowledge of anatomy and explore different body types and how anatomy affects movement and widen my range of stretches and postures to help the body find balance.
I embraced the very important connection of the body and the mind. Allowing the mind a reprieve and simply taking some deep breaths made the rest of my day not only more manageable but also more beautiful.
In my massages, I aim to blend meditation and relaxation while still focusing on the technicalities of how your body moves and works as a whole. My goal is to provide a portion of your day to feel proud of making a healthy choice and treating your body and mind with kindness.
